Man electrocutes wife, buries body in house

A man identified as Mohammad Vashi allegedly electrocuted his wife, Usha in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, India and buried her at home.

According to reports by local newspapers, the police visited the house and recovered the body after getting wind of the incident.

The suspect was arrested while the victim’s corpse has been sent for a post-mortem.

Usha was reported to have gotten married to Mohammad in 2017.

The reason for the dastardly act is not yet established, but a police investigation is underway.
