Dr. Salim-Saleh Muhammad, the President of the Wheat Farmers Association of Nigeria (WFAN), passed away on December 25, 2022.

He died after a brief illness and was buried the same day in Kano.

Eulogising Muhammad, The President of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Dr. Farouk Rabi’u-Mudi, described the development as an irreparable loss and sad development.

According to him, Muhammad was a renowned farmer and leader respected globally who believes in the future of Nigeria’s agriculture sector.

Mudi added that the late WFAN President was his mentor and a father to all.

“He is my mentor. He introduced me to Association activities.

”He helped so much during our struggle to rescue AFAN and was a member of the 7-man Committee to name AFAN,” he said.

Mudi, on behalf of the Association, extended his condolences to loved ones, family and friends, WFAN, and the entire people of Kano.
