Three brothers said to children of one Alhaji Musa, a cattle dealer have been killed by kidnappers in Taraba State despite receipt of the ransom they asked for to release them.
The kidnappers also killed the motorcyclist sent to deliver the ransom to them.
Taraba State Police Command spokesman, Abdullahi Usman, confirmed the incident on Tuesday in a statement.
He said the sad incident occurred on Sunday at Garin Dogo community of Lau Local government Area.
According to Usman, the kidnappers had demanded N100 million to release the three brothers who were kidnapped from the community.
But their father had negotiated the ransom to N60 million and the kidnappers agreed and demanded that the money should be in cash and brought to them through a motorcyclist.
However, he said the kidnappers killed the ransom bearer and the three brothers after they got the money.
