Former presidential aspirant, Professor Kingsley Moghalu, has supported the claims of Pastor Paul Adefarasin who said that the next Nigerian President must build an indivisible cabinet.

In a video shared by a tweep “Ayemojubar”, the cleric said he is a statesman and not affiliated with any of the political parties in the country.

He explained that “whoever can build an exceptional cabinet with exceptional people for about ten key offices that have the vision to work with and together, is the right next President”.

According to him, it is a challenge for all presidential candidates to show profiles for each of the key political positions.

Backing his statements, Moghalu tweeted; “I fully agree with Pastor @pauladefarasin. The govt/cabinet of the next president will be key to success, and the political will on the part of the president to back them up in the necessary reforms.

“The following portfolios will be decisive: Secretary to the Govt, NSA, Chief of Staff, Finance, CBN Gov (not formally a cabinet position but nevertheless critical), Industry, Trade and Investment, National Planning & Budget, Education, Agriculture, Health, Defence, Police, Petroleum, Women & Social Affairs.

“The secret to forming such a cabinet will be to make competence and track record, with no political considerations except Federal Character, 50% of the cabinet. Political rewards can be the other 50% but still without sacrificing competence.

“Essentially, we need a CREDIBLE cabinet that will inspire the confidence of citizens as well as investors, local and foreign, and one that will build and execute national consensus on development. In short, a credible Government of National Unity.

“Oh, and how could I forget the key portfolio of Attorney-General/Minister of Justice?
