Brentford thrash Liverpool

Rampant Brentford thrashed Liverpool 3-1 on Monday at home as the Reds drift far from claiming the league this season.

The homers opened scoring on 19th minute after Ibrahima Konate scored an own-goal.

Konate attempted to clear the ball away after the opposition’s corner kick into the box, but instead miskicked the clearance and put it into his own net, specifically inside the right post.

Brentford added a second goal on 39th minute but the referee ruled out the goal for an offside after VAR’s check.

But this did not stop the homers from scoring their second goal three minutes later.
