Fancy Acholonu said her ex-fiancee Alexx Ekubo manipulated her into issuing a public apology.
The Nigerian US-based model had tendered a public apology to Alexx on December 29, 2022, after she called off their wedding plans in August 2021.
“Nothing makes sense when we’re apart @alexxekubo you still have my heart. I miss you, I love you, and I’m truly sorry for all the hurt & pain you and your family went through with our breakup.
“My actions in how I handled things were out of my character. I should have controlled my emotions and not been so overreactive,” Fancy wrote in the apology statement.
However, she made another U-turn on Monday with the claim that Alexx made her “apologise publicly constantly”.
She added that the Nollywood actor manipulated her for his ego.
Fancy then stated that she “endured everything a Nigerian woman typically does from her man, which is lies and all the cheating.”
She added that every time she made a statement, it was because he asked her to.
Fancy wrote this while responding to Yomi Casual’s wife, Grace Makun, who told her to stop writing.
