Ogun 2023: PDP’s Adebutu promises to tackle poverty, insecurity

Ogun PDP governorship candidate for 2023 election, Oladipupo Adebutu said has said he is capable of improving the economy of the state, lift the people from poverty and end insecurity in the state if elected in 2023.
Adebutu spoke while handing over the branded vehicles to the party’s campaign coordinators across the 20 Local Government Areas of Ogun, in Abeokuta, the state capital.
He bemoaned the high prevalence of poverty in the state which, in his opinion, has hindered the people from realizing their full potential.
“Since poverty has a wide-ranging effect, contributing to problems like crime, unemployment, bad health, marital violence, social vices, loneliness, and depression, as governor I will spearhead the fight against poverty in Ogun State,” Adebutu promised.
Speaking on the distribution of vehicles, Ogun PDP Secretary, Dr. Sunday Solarin, said the aim is to make a statement about the support and commitment of the people to deliver the forthcoming election in their constituency for the PDP.
Also spoeakig, Ogun PDP Chairman, Sikirullah Ogundele appreciated all the party faithful and advised them not to relent until the mission to rescue Ogun State is achieved.
The Gubernatorial Candidate of PDP, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu said his administration would add value to the socioeconomic standard of the State and urged members of the Party to move out enmasse and mobilize more voters for the party during elections.
Giving the vote of thanks, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Party, Hon.Abdul Kabir Akinlade advised party members to go all out and mobilize votes for the party so as to ensure a landslide victory of the Party in the State.
