Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara on Sunday extolled the commitment and loyalty of the Nigerian Armed Forces in the service of the country.

AbdulRazaq affirmed this at the Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service to commemorate the Armed Forces Remembrance Day and Emblem Appeal Week at Mount Olive Anglican Church, Ilorin.

Represented by his Deputy, Kayode Alabi, the governor asserted that the courageous Nigerians had obeyed Biblical injunctions on service.

These heroes, he said, “served their country and offered their lives as a ransom for the preservation of the nation”.

AbdulRazaq appreciated the effort and sacrifice of the Nigerian Armed Forces in maintaining peace, security and tranquillity in the state and beyond.

He, therefore, called on the people to support and cooperate with members of the Nigerian Armed Forces to combat security challenges that undermine the stability of our nation.
