Rev. Tajan Moltok, the Jos Resident Pastor of Shepherd House Assembly International, on Sunday in Jos urged Nigerians to be positive about the year 2023.
The cleric made the call in his sermon tagged “2023” during a church service.
He urged Nigerians especially, Christians to desist from using negative words to describe how 2023 would unfold for them but to speak faith to their lives.
“You must always speak right and positively. Always speak grace.
“Life is by faith and not by sight. Until you prophesy faith, you will never have it come to pass,’’ he stressed.
He said the congregants’ faith could propel God’s intervention in spite of their current realities of several challenges and other uncertainties of 2023.
“Your faith can propel an encounter with God where life will be restored and doors will be opened.
“You are not a Christian until your faith is tried,” he charged.
Moltok said that believers have the power to create their future while urging them to do their work and leave the rest to God.
He admonished the congregants to be fervent in prayers.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Moltok conducted special prayers for a successful 2023 for the congregation.
