Joao Felix was sent off on his debut for Chelsea, as the Blues crumbled to 2-1 defeat at Fulham on Thursday to compound their misery.

Willian opened scoring for Fulham against his former club on 25th minute. He got a shot away from inside the box and the effort was deflected past the goalkeeper.

Chelsea wasted a big opportunity to draw level on 35th minute. Lewis Hall made a yard for himself and produced a mid-range rocket of a shot towards the left side of the goal. Unfortunately for him, Bernd Leno pulled off a fantastic save to stop the effort.
On 40th minute, Joao Felix ran onto a loose pass inside the box and released a tremendous shot low towards the middle of the goal. However, Bernd Leno anticipated the shot and made an easy save.
Chelsea equalised two minutes after the break. Kalidou Koulibaly was in the right place at the right time to get to the rebound inside the box and gleefully rifled the ball low inside the left post.
Felix was sent off on 58th minute. He took out his opponent after failing to control himself and the referee has no choice but to show him a deserved red card.
The homers made it 2-1 on 73rd minute. Andreas Pereira showcased his great technique and produced a beautiful lofted cross into the box. Carlos Vinicius met the cross and got himself onto the scoresheet with a header down into the middle of the net.
