Festus Keyamo, the spokesman for the presidential campaign council of the All Progressives Congress standard bearer Bola Tinubu, has vowed to drag Olusegun Obasanjo and Atiku Abubakar to court.

Keyamo, during an interview on Arise TV on Monday, said the former president and his vice Atiku must answer to the corruption allegations leveled against them.

According to him, the administration led by Atiku and Obasanjo can never be compared to that of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Keyamo noted that the Obasanjo administration recorded 28 percent inflation in 2005.

The minister made the above comment while responding to the question on the legacies of President Buhari that the Tinubu administration will build upon if elected in 2023.

He said: “Tinubu will build on the legacy of infrastructural development. Buhari’s presidency has surpassed the achievements of Obasanjo’s tenure. The Obasanjo-Atiku regime has collapsed now with all the boasting of that tenure. The tenure is now known as the SPV years with smelly revelations coming out now about the criminal enterprise that Obasanjo and Atiku ran at that time where they were using shell companies to dupe Nigerians and pilfer money from the public coffers. Today, I have decided to take up that matter, we have evidence of emails and documents where a vice president and president opened companies between 1999 and 2007. They were using the company to take money out of the treasury to fund the PDP and their private businesses and families. I have written to three law enforcement agencies and I am asking for a full investigation, If they don’t, I am going to court even as a sitting cabinet member. Atiku will not survive it, it’s over for him.”
