The Wife of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Titi Abubakar has said that her husband Atiku Abubakar was responsible for the successful tenure of Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Titi Atiku claimed that the success story of Nigeria on economy, industry, employment and many other sectors was achievable due to total support, dedication and loyalty of her husband, Atiku Abubakar as vice president of the Country.

Atiku’s Wife, while canvassing votes for all PDP’s candidates, including her husband and Ifeanyi Okowa, at the PDP Presidential Rally held at Ake Palace in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital on Wednesday, said the February 25th presidential election should be a pay back time for her husband through Obasanjo.

“Atiku is the best presidential candidate you should for vote, he knows how to handle the country’s economy, he is the major reason why Nigeria was successful during Obasanjo’s tenure because he was the vice president.

“He has the experience and he knows what it takes to handle industries, economy and others,” she said.

She, however, promised to treat women right, give them best opportunities they could ever imagine and promised not to deny them their rights come what may.

Titi said she had trained and empowered many women in order to prevent them from social vices such as prostitution and hard drug usage, adding that if she could become the First Lady of Nigeria she would do more to better the lives of women and youths.

The presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, however, promised to upturn the situation of the country’s economy for good if elected the next president.

For him to be able to do so the people needs to vote for him and other PDP’s candidates from ward to ward.
