Rashford scored second goal for United

Casemiro was sent off on Saturday as 10-man Manchester United beat Crystal Palace 2-1 in  a nervy ending.

United were leading 2-0 when Casemiro was sent off for fighting. After reviewing the incident using VAR, Referee Andre Marriner brought out a straight red card.

The homers opened scoring on seventh minute from the penalty spot. Bruno Fernandes ran up to the ball, stopped and waited for Vicente Guaita to commit before slotting the penalty into the bottom left corner.

On 27th minute, Marcus Rashford darted into the penalty area to latch on to a pass, and he unleashed a shot in the direction of the right post. Vicente Guaita was alert and denied him with a nice save.

United made it 2-0 on 62nd minute. Luke Shaw played a simple square pass into the feet of Marcus Rashford in the box, who composed himself and lashed the ball low into the middle of the goal.

Following the sending off of Casemiro on 70th minute, it became a nervy moment for United as Palace mounted the pressure.
