Red-hot Osimhen hits brace as Napoli thrash Spezia

Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen on Sunday scored a brace as Napoli thrashed Spezia 3-0 to widen gap at the top.

Napoli got the first goal on 47th minute from the penalty spot. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia put the ball into the right of the net, giving goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski no chance.

Osimhen netted on 68th minute for his first goal of the match. The gangling  Nigerian leapt high to connect with a cross on the edge of the box and scored with a trademark header inside the right post.

Five minute later, a mistake from the defence gifted a chance to a lurking Osimhen, who kept his cool and rolled the ball into the net from close range to make it 0-3 for the visitors.

This is his 16th goal of the season. He is now the highest goal scorer in Serie A, four goals ahead of another Nigeria, Ademola Lookman who plies his trade for Atalanta.
