The Nasrul-lahi-li Fathi Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) has said wearing hijab is an instruction from God Almighty that women should cover their head and body from head to toe.

Bashirat Saidu, the NASFAT Women Affairs Coordinator in Doka, Kaduna, gave the advice on Sunday in an interview with newsmen on the World Hijab Day while expressing concern over the level of indecent dressing in the society.

Abdulkarim urged parents to caution their words against trespassing the law of the Almighty.

“Wearing the hijab is a sign of a good believer,” she said, while urging Muslim women to adhere strictly to the religious directive on the wearing of Hijab.

According to her, wearing Hijab by women is to sanctify their body by covering it from public view.
