United and Leads played out 2-2 draw

Manchester United came back from two goals down to play out a 2-2 draw against struggling Leeds United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

The result represents a setback for United who are still dreaming of fight for the premier league title.

Leeds shocked the home crowd as they got into the lead in just one minute into the game.

Wilfried Gnonto perfectly collected a pass on the edge of the penalty area from Patrick Bamford, then produced a nice strike into the bottom left corner.

Three minutes into the second half, Leeds made it 2-0 from an own-goal from Raphael Varane. He attempted to intercept an offensive pass, he scored an own goal.

Marcus Rashford reduced the tally on 62nd minute. He burst into the box to got on the end of a whipped in cross from Diogo Dalot and scored magnificently from close range into the bottom left corner.

United equalised eight minutes later. Jadon Sancho found himself some space inside the box to control a rebound and blasted the ball into the middle of the net, leaving the goalkeeper rooted to the spot.

On 78th minute, Illan Meslier made a superb save to deny a header which was nodded towards the roof of the net by Raphael Varane after a cross from the side.
Nine minutes to duration time, a great strike from Bruno Fernandes near the edge of the box had the keeper scrambling but flew just over the bar.
