The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has asked the Kwara State Government to take proactive measures against electoral crises in the build-up to the 2023 elections.

Mrs Zainab Saidu, the Head of Minna Operations Office of the agency, gave the advice in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday in Ilorin.

She said that NEMA was advocating proactive measures to be taken in order to prevent electoral violence in the state during the upcoming elections.

“The agency believes that by taking preventative steps, we can ensure a peaceful and orderly election process.
