Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq said he is backing the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, because of his track record in Lagos State.

The governor stated this in Omu-Aran when he paid an unscheduled visit to Rep. Tunji Olawuyi, who represents Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun, and Oke-Ero constituencies.

According to him, Lagos State is the focus of all eyes in Nigeria because of its developmental strides, and that Tinubu began the journey when he was elected governor of the state.

AbdulRazaq revealed that he had written several letters to President Muhammadu Buhari requesting assistance in dualizing the Ilorin-Kabba road, but they had yet to be read.

The governor went on to say that he discussed the issue with Tinubu and expressed confidence that if the people delivered him, the road would be built.

AbdulRazaq stated that he is doing everything possible to keep the state economically viable, with more businesses on the way.

He wants the people of the state to work very hard to help APC win again so that the good work can continue.

“Part of my discussion with Tinubu is the dualisation of this road to Kabba. I can guarantee you that with Asiwaju as the president, this project is a done deal.

“That is one of the biggest projects we can bring to Kwara South; it is such an economic road. Its importance can not be overemphasised,” AbdulRazaq said
