Samsung Electronics, South Korea’s tech giant, on Friday said it had launched its new Galaxy S23 smartphones in 55 countries.

The Galaxy S23 series were released in 55 countries, including South Korea, the U. S, Britain, and France.

The number of countries in which Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 are available will gradually increase to 130, Samsung said.

However, domestic pre—orders for the new smartphones for the past seven days have reached 1.09 million, topping the company’s previous record of 1.02 million pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 series.

“This year’s pre-order numbers echo our customers’ strong trust in our brand and demonstrate how our commitment to ground-breaking innovation and sustainability continues to resonate with consumers,” TM Roh, head of Samsung’s mobile phone business, said.
