Swedish pole vault superstar Armand “Mondo” Duplantis has surpassed his own world record yet again, clearing 6.22 metres on Saturday evening.

“It’s unbelievable, I don’t know what to say,” the 23-year-old Olympic champion said after his win at the All-Star Perche, a World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver meeting in the French town of Clermont-Ferrand.

“I don’t even really remember the last minutes or the last jump,” he added.

It was Duplantis’ third attempt at breaking his own world record of 6.21m which he cleared at the World Athletics Championships Oregon22.
