The All Progressives Congress’ (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has won the presidential election held in Ekiti State on Saturday by a landslide.
The APC’s presidential candidate won in all 16 Local Government Areas of the State.
INEC’s Presiding Officer, Akeem Lasisi, announced the result at the State Collation Centre in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday afternoon.
According to the results, Tinubu of the APC polled 201,486 votes to defeat the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar by a landslide. Atiku scored 89,554 votes.
Peter Obi of Labour Party got 11,397 votes to come third, while Rabiu Kwankwaso garnered 264 votes to come third.
