Breaking: Tinubu floors Atiku, Obi in Ondo, Kwara
The All Progressives Congress’ (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has defeated Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Peter Obi of Labour Party in Ondo and Kwara States in Saturday’s presidential election.
In the result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Tinubu polled 369,924 votes to defeat Atiku, who scored 115,463 votes.
Obi scored 44,405 votes to come third in the election conducted in Ondo, while Rabiu Kwankwaso got 930 votes.
In Kwara State, Tinubu polled 263,572 votes to beat Atiku of the PDP, who garnered 136,909 votes to come second in the election.
Obi came third with 31,166 votes to come third in the election, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), polled 3,141 votes to come fourth.
