APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, of All Progressives Congress, APC, has defeated his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, counterpart, Atiku Abubakar in the presidential election conducted on 25 February in Borno State.

According to result announced by INEC in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital on Tuesday evening, Tinubu Tinubu, garnered 252,282 votes in the election.

On the contrary Atiku polled 190,921 votes while the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi came third with 7,205 votes.
