Tinubu narrowly floors Peter Obi in Benue

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has defeated Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

Tinubu scored 310,468 votes to narrowly defeat Obi, who garnered 308,372 votes.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came third, polling 130,081 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria (NNPP) scored 4,740 votes.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom failed to deliver the state to Obi as the APC claimed victory in the election conducted last Saturday.
