Uba Michael congratulates Tinubu

Delta State former gubernatorial aspirant, Chief (Hon.) Uba A. Michael has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his victory in the 2023 presidential election.

The former governor of Lagos State emerged as the winner of the 2023 presidential election, after winning by a landslide.

According the Chairman of INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, Tinubu polled a total of 8,794,726 votes to defeat his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rival, Atiku Abubakar, who polled 6,984,520 votes.

While Peter Obi of the Labour Party, secured 3rd position with 6,101,533 votes, Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party trailed with 1,496,687.

In his congratulations message on Wednesday, Uba congratulated the APC presidential candidate for the resounding victory recorded at the polls.

According to the APC stalwart, Tinubu is a progressive man with track records and has the capacity to paddle affairs of the country.

Uba further urged members of the opposition, to halt any demonstrations that can jeopardize the country and embrace peace for democracy to thrive in the country.

Meanwhile, the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, in his acceptance speech has assured Nigerians that he would be the chief servant and serve Nigeria with all he’s got.

This is as he also appealed to opposition parties and his challengers to join him in his mission to achieve the desired country.
