Participants at The Word's New Writers Showcase in the United Kingdom on Feb. 25

Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 was another great day for the author of Scars Do Heal, Kayode Akinropo, and other new writers who were showcased to the world by The Word Library.

The elated writer described the event which held at the centre for the Written Word in South Tyneside Council, United Kingdom (UK) as a success.

Audience at the event interacted freely with the showcased writers in a convivial atmosphere.

Other featured writers were Nicky Black; Eileen Wharton; Esme Morgan Smithson, and Jo Lyons.

Akinropo, a Nigerian born writer and English Language teacher was ably supported by his wife, Iyabode at the event.

The grateful Akinropo had words of appreciation for everyone who participated or contributed in one way or the other to the success of the literary event.
