Chelsea’s revival continued on Saturday as they thrashed Leicester City 1-3 away from home, but still remain in 10th position.

The visitors took the lead on 11 minutes after Ben Chilwell met a perfect cross from Kalidou Koulibaly deep inside the box, and produced an accurate strike which went into the bottom right corner.

Joao Felix would have made it 0-2 for Chelsea. He stormed into the box to get on the end of a pass, but smashed his shot straight onto the right post.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, on 27 minutes picked up a precise pass and produced a bullet of a strike from distance that smashed against the crossbar.

Leicester equalised shortly before the breake as Patson Daka scored an incredible goal! He received a pass, made some space for himself and unleashed a long-range thunderbolt of a shot past the goalkeeper into the right side of the net.

Chelsea made it 1-2 on first half added time. Kai Havertz got on the end of a long pass that was slotted through the defence and he easily sen the ball into the bottom left corner.

The visitors wrapped up their victory after Mykhailo Mudryk played in Mateo Kovacic, who showed great determination to get to the ball before a couple of defenders. He shot from inside the box into the right side of the net to make it 1-3.
