A Civil Society Organisation (CSO), Global Network for Sustainable Development( GNSD), has called on other CSOs and youth platforms to desist from acts of public incitement.

The National Coordinator of the group, Mr Phil Roberts, made the call in a statement on Friday, in Abuja.

Robert said that such groups were usually hired to silence the voice of reason “and render our nation a tyrannical and dictatorial enclave.

“A society where citizens live in perpetual fear and bondage.

“It is advised that such groups should stop further acts of public incitement for the good of the country.”

It would be recalled that some CSOs and youth groups have issued inciteful statements since the release of results of the Feb. 25 presidential and national assembly elections in Nigeria by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
