The London Afro-sound has been felt throughout popular culture but the result of that influence isn’t always reflected in the city. The finger-print of several Afrobeat heavyweights mostly from Nigeria, the likes of Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Kizz Daniel, and so many others to mention a few have left their mark on the genre and, to a greater extent, music in general.
Known for his sleek deliveries and catchy lyrics, on the Jaffy-produced number the Nigerian-born artist sings about his lifestyle, “before music I was balling in my Bentley,” Suavo sings.
Speaking about the Dir. OT–directed visuals, LB Suavo described the project as “just a new level,” he continued, “A different peak has been reached, it’s a motion picture, it’s a movie,” Suavo concludes.
“Millionaire Memoirs” is due for release in April, the same month the singer announced his sophomore album might arrive.
