The Shangisha Landlords Association has called on the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to obey the supreme court judgment after 13 years.

The Chairman of the Association, Chief Adebayo Adeyiga made this call on Wednesday in a statement.

He said since the Governor had decided to write the wrongs his administration has melted on citizens, this was the time to obey the supreme court judgment and put an end to the injustice.

“In same light, the Governor told the world in our meetings with him that he will release our land to us but unfortunately after the meeting we had with him what we saw was that same government returning back to Supreme Court,” the association said.

The association appealed to Sanwo-Olu to use this period to release “our Land and serve justice to a case that has lingered for 35 years, we believe that if he will do this, then history will be charitable unto him.”
