Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the last election, is set to uproot Governor Charles Soludo in Anambra in this weekend’s house of assembly elections.
Obi is working frantically for Labour Party to take over the House of Assembly in a bid to create obstacles for Soludo, who will now be at the mercy of Labour Party.
On Thursday, Obi stormed Anambra to campaign for Labour Party’s house of assemblies candidates.
A large crowd welcomed him to the State and were chanting his name.
He posted photos of his visit to Anambra on his Twitter page and wrote: “I arrived in Anambra state this morning. This is another great opportunity to thank the ‘Obidients,’ and ask them to go out en-masse and support LP candidates.
“Let’s put a defining and authoritative seal on the broad mandate that the Labour Party received on 25th February.”
