The Ogun chapter of Amalgamation of Commercial Motorcycle Owners, Riders, and Repairers Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) has congratulated Prince Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his victory in the just conducted governorship election in the state.
ACOMORAN in a statement by its State Chairman, Mr Kayode Sowunmi also lauded what it described as Abiodun’s dogged resilience and perseverance through his party’s primaries, during campaigns and the eventual election.
The group also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for allowing the will of the people to prevail in the election.
It also said infrastructural development of the governor in his first term of office earned him the victory at the poll.
He, therefore, enjoined political leaders in the state to avoid inciting comments as they wait for the judiciary to address their grouses.
“We wish to laud the role and sacrifices of our members and APC members towards the actualization of this dream.
“We commend the effort of our party leaders, Aremo Olusegun Osoba and Senator Olamilekan Yayi for their support and mobilization across the state.”
The ACOMORAN Chairman, however, urged the governor to ensure the completion of the Agro Cargo airport to boost the transportation system in the state.
