National Commissioner for INEC, Mrs May Agbamuche-Mbu for Rivers and Bayelsa State handing over Certificate of Return to Siminalayi Fubara Governor-Elect of Rivers State

The Governor-Elect of Rivers, Siminalayi Fubara on Wednesday received his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Port Harcourt.

Also, Prof.Mrs. Ngozi Nma Ordu, the Deputy Governor Elect received her Certificate of Return.

The National Commissioner for INEC, for Rivers and Bayelsa, Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu presented the certificate of returns to the Governor elect and his deputy at a brief ceremony at INEC Office along Port Harcourt-Aba Expressway, Port Harcourt.

Related News

The brief ceremony was attended by Governor Nyesom Wike, top party faithfuls and immediate members of the recipients.

Fubara and Ordu are expected to takeover from Governor Nyesom Wike and his deputy, Dr Mrs Ipalibo Banigo respectively.

Also, members-elect of Rivers House of Assembly also received their certificates of return from the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Sinikiem Alalibo.
