Television personality, Yeni Kuti has attacked Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola for demanding that youths should respect and stop insulting their elders on social media.

Kuti said Daramola is reaping what she sowed as she had insulted her decades ago, even though she was far older than the actress.

Daramola had in a video on her Instagram page on Tuesday lashed out at Nigerian youths for insulting their elders on social media.

She said the unruly behaviour of many Nigerian youths on social media was a pandemic people were not paying attention to, saying it was worrisome.

According to Daramola, in the next five years, if Nigerians were not careful, youths would start beating up their parents because people are tolerating the bad behaviour they are exhibiting now.

Citing the recently concluded election, the actress said many youths grabbed the opportunity to insult their elders, because they are supporting the opposition party.

According to her, the incident occurred decades ago, but that she remembered it because it affected her.
