Miserable United crumbled at Newcastle, lose third place

Newcastle United beat Manchester United 2-0 on Sunday to move third in the premier league table.

After a goalless first half, a  determined Newcastle came out hot in the second half with more purpose and intense.

The homers struck the first goal on 65 minutes. Allan Saint-Maximin connected with a delightful cross and headed it towards Joe Willock, whose header wnt past David de Gea.

On 76 minutes, Nick Pope had a great save to deny United an equaliser. Raphael Varane jumped high to meet a cross and glanced a promising header from close range, but the goalkeeper pulled off a brilliant stop to keep it out.
A minute later Joelinton latched on to a perfectly taken corner kick deep into the box and attempted to head home. His bullet header headed straight towards the roof of the net, but it was deflected onto the crossbar by the goalkeeper.

Newcastle made it 2-0 two minutes to duration time. Kieran Trippier sent a cross in and Callum Wilson leapt high to connect with it on the edge of the 6-yard box. His close-range header went into the bottom left corner.
