Bournemouth stun Tottenham in five-goal thriller at White Hart Lane


Bournemouth celebrate their victory over Tottenham

Bournemouth stunned Tottenham at the New White Hart Lane on Saturday in a five-goal thriller and stopped the homers from moving into the top four.

The match ended 2-3 in favour of Bournemouth. Tottenham needed to win the match to take over the fourth spot from Manchester United but they falter.

Heung-Min Son put the homers in front, showing good awareness inside the box as he latched on to a brilliant pass and fired a first-time shot into the bottom right corner after being assisted by Ivan Perisic.

Matias Vina equalised for Bournemouth. Dominic Solanke got to the ball, slipped Matias Vina into the area and he scored with a delightful chipped finish to make it 1-1 on 38 minutes.

Six minutes into the second half,  Solanke gathered the ball off a rebound inside the box and fired home into the right side of the net to make it 1-2 for Bournemouth.

Arnaut Danjuma equalised for Tottenham two minutes to duration time. He got to the ball on the edge of the box and fired in a first-time shot without any hesitation. The strike was excellent and went straight into the bottom left corner.

Bournemouth broke Tottenham’s heart, getting the third goal two minutes into added time. Solanke showed great vision to find Dango Ouattara with a cheeky pass inside the box, and his first-time shot was precise and sailed into the bottom right corner.
