Famous American actor, bodybuilder and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger, better known as The Terminator, has announced the release date of his new book.

Schwarzenegger said the motivational book, entitled Be Useful: Seven Tools For Life. would hit the shelves on 10 October this year.

The 75- year former Governor of California made this disclosure in an Instagram post on Tuesday as he revealed the cover of the forthcoming publication, the Daily Mail reports.

The Terminator, wrote a message in his post’s caption to give an insight into the new book. He started by looking back to his earlier years and explained the title of the book.

“My dad always told me, ‘Be useful, Arnold.’ And every time people come up to me and tell me how my advice has helped them throughout their lives, I can see that it’s useful when I share my life philosophy, rules, and tools,’ he wrote.

Schwarzenegger continued: ‘I was finally convinced to sit down and write a book about my philosophy. This way, my tools can be useful for everyone.’

Penguin Press, publisher of the forthcoming book, shared a press release via ET Canada to further promote the upcoming release of Be Useful.

“The world’s greatest bodybuilder. The world’s highest paid movie star. The leader of the world’s sixth largest economy. That these are the same person sounds like the setup to a joke. But this is no joke. This is Arnold Schwarzenegger.’

According to Daily Mail Schwarzenegger’s success in his personal and professional lives was attributed to “the result of clear vision, big thinking, hard work, direct communication, resilient problem-solving, open-minded curiosity, and a commitment to giving back.

“All of it guided by the one lesson Arnold’s father hammered into him above all: be useful. As Arnold conquered every realm he entered, he kept his father’s adage close to his heart,” it continued.

The book was then described as taking ‘readers on an inspirational tour through Arnold’s toolkit for a meaningful life.’

The press release concluded with further information on the upcoming book’s content.

“[Schwarzenegger] brings his insights to vivid life with compelling personal stories, life-changing successes and life-threatening failures alike — some of them famous, some told here for the first time ever,” it read.

Schwarzenegger’s first book was Arnold: Developing a Mr. Universe Physique, which he published in 1977. The Predator star went on to collaborate with Douglas Kent Hall on another body building-centric book released in 1979.

The actor subsequently co-wrote further fitness-focused publications with Bill Dobbins.

His most recent book, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story, was released in October of 2012.
