Peter Obi condoles Ihedioha over mother's death

Dr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has commiserated with the former governor of Imo state, Emeka Ihedioha, on the death of his mother.

His condolence message was posted and personally signed on his official Twitter page.

It read, “Your Excellency and My Dear Brother @EmekaIhedioha, I just read the sad news of Mama’s passing to eternity.

“On behalf of my family, I sincerely condole with you, and the entire Ihedioha family on the death of your beloved mother, Dame Dorothy Ihedioha.

Earlier, Ihedioha announced his mother’s death today with a statement titled “Our Matriach transits to eternity” on Facebook.

Dame Dorothy Ihediola (nee Okereke) passed away on Thursday, surrounded by family, aged 90. She is survived by her siblings, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
