The Coalition for A Better Nigeria has felicitated Muslims across the country on the occasion of the successful celebration of the 1444 A.H (2023) Eid-el Fitr festival.

The pro-democracy group also used the opportunity to pray for a successful assumption of office by the incoming Tinubu Administration on May 29, 2023.

These are contained in a press release which was signed by the group’s National Coordinator, Comrade Awa Bamiji, and forwarded to P.M.NEWS in Lagos.

“This year’s Eid-el Fitr celebration is a double blessing for the whole World because the Jumat prayer always holds Friday, same day this year’s Eid – el Fitr prayer is held.

“It’s pious to fast and pray for a whole month while listening to and obeying various Islamic guidelines.

“We, therefore, implore Muslims to remain committed to the teachings and lessons of Ramadan throughout their individual lives.

“We must embrace peaceful co-existence anywhere we find ourselves and all hands must be on deck to ensure that our individual Communities are totally secure. It’s high time we said enough is enough to insecurity in this Country,” Awa Bamiji said.

He prayed for the “incoming administration of the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to be raised and fully empowered by divine wisdom throughout its tenure so that we, Nigerians, at the end of the day, would have cause to thank Almighty God, for giving us the right person, former Governor of Lagos State, as our President.”
