Tinubu arrives Abuja from France

Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has landed in Abuja, Nigeria from France where he has gone to rest and engage in other things.

Huge crowd of supporters welcomed him back to Nigeria at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The president-elect came along with his wife, Oluremi.

The Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima and other top party faithful were at the airport to receive him. Also present was the Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Tinubu left the shore of the country on 21 March, 2023, almost a month after winning the keenly contested presidential election in the country.

While he was away, the oppositions have engaged in mudslinging as usual, saying he was sick, but Tinubu is hale nd hearty.

The president-elect will be sworn in on 29 May, 2023 as the 16th president of Nigeria, Africa’s largest economy and the biggest black nation on earth.
