Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is set to return on Monday, a month after leaving the country for a vacation in Paris, France.

His return was confirmed by Bayo Onanuga, his Director of Media and Publicity.

Onanuga tweeted, “Nigeria’s President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns to Abuja today after weeks of a well-deserved vacation in France. E kaabo! Se dada le de! (Welcome! Hope you arrived well!)

He will return to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja with his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Tinubu will be received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, as well as governors and top APC officials.

According to reports, he will be escorted from the airport to the Defence House by a carnival-style motorcade.

Moreover, various APC support groups are preparing to storm the airport to welcome the winner of the February 25th Presidential election home.

Confirming the return, President-elect media aide, Tunde Rahman said “Yes Asiwaju is returning tomorrow (Monday). All I know is that there is a big plan by party members and supporters of the President-elect to give him a rousing return tomorrow.
