Ex-Minister Musa Gwadabe dies at 87

Alhaji Musa Gwadabe, a former Labour and Productivity Minister and founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has passed on.
Gwadabe died Wednesday morning (today) at the age of 87 in a Kano hospital after a long illness.
Aisha Musa Gwadabe, a daughter of the deceased who works at Radio Nigeria Pyramid FM Kano, confirmed the death, saying the late minister’s funeral prayer would be held at 2 p.m. today at his residence off Maiduguri road in Kano.
Before his demise, Gwadabe was a minister during Olusegun Obasanjo’s first term, from 1999 to 2003.
He was also Secretary to the Kano State Government under the Late Sabo Bakin Zuwo and a member of several boards.
He is survived by two wives, 11 children and many grandchildren.
