Police arrest 5 cable vandals in Lagos

Operatives of the Alausa Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested five suspects for vandalizing Lagos State Electricity Board cables mounted around 7-Up Bottling Company, Alausa area of Lagos State.

The suspects are Ukah Gabriel ‘m’ aged 29, Emmanuel Ajikula ‘m’ aged 29, Athanisus Lornumbe ‘m’ aged 28, Titus Akuha ‘m’ aged 18 and Felix Lornumbe ‘m’ aged 27.

They were arrested in the act on Monday, April 24, 2023, following receipt of credible intelligence on the suspicious movement of some hoodlums in the area.

Tools and vandalized cables were recovered from the suspects.

The suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and prosecution.
