President Muhammadu Buhari has described Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as a dedicated and loyal citizen with a strong desire to see Nigeria develop.

Buhari stated this at the virtual launch of a book titled “Osinbajo Strides: Defining Moments of an Innovative Leader,” which was written in honour of the vice president by a team of 25 journalists under the auspices of PYO COLLECTIVE.

Represented by Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Buhari praised Osinbajo’s commitment to service, particularly in serving the interests of the masses.

He thanked Osinbajo for his selflessness and passion for excellence in the tasks assigned to his office, recognising all of his visits to different parts of the country to identify with the common people.

“The vice president’s passion for excellence in everything he is involved with is admirable. Besides all of his official engagements as Vice President, we all saw this attribute exhibited by him right from the campaigns—how he ensured that the right things were done,” he said.

In his remarks, Osinbajo expressed his gratitude for being honoured in this manner.
