Manchester United crashed 0-1 at West Ham on Sunday and failed to move third ahead of Newcastle who lost earlier in the day.

United needed to win the match against West Ham to move third, but a lackluster performance denied them.

The homers opened scoring on 27 minutes after a blunder from keeper David de Gea,

He made a complete hash of a weak mid-range shot from Mohamed Said Benrahma and let the ball squirmed into the net.

Six minutes later, Antony controlled a pass, went past a defender and curled a shot from the edge of the box right onto the right post.

Benrahma latched on to a lovely pass inside the box on first half added time and fired towards the right side of the net, but the effort was smothered by the keeper.

Michail Antonio put the ball inside the net on 52 minutes but referee Peter Bankes blew his whistle for a foul.

Tomas Soucek also scored for West Ham on 74th minute, but it was disallowed due to offside.
