19-year-old stabs kindergarten teacher to death, injures 9 others

A 19-year-old man has killed a kindergarten teacher said to be his ex-girlfriend and injured nine others in a knife attack at a day care centre in central Poland.

According to Poland’s PAP news agency the incident which occurred in the Polish village of Tomislawice might be a case of unrequited love.

The agency added that five people were hospitalised with knife wounds, with four others receiving on-site assistance.

The attacker was arrested by the police at his home an hour after committing the crime.

As many as 13 people were in the day care facility when the attack took place, according to the Polish news agency. (Sputnik/NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
