Mr Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media & Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, has revealed that a varsity student, Firdausi Yusuf, surprised him at the State House.

The media aide disclosed this in a brief statement titled “With love from a budding journalist” on Monday.

According to the statement, the aforementioned student had been trying to reach the president’s spokesman but his busy schedule did not allow.

“For weeks, she had been attempting to see me, but my schedule would not allow. Finally, despite a hectic time today, I spared time to receive her briefly at State House, Abuja.

“All the way from Kaduna, the young lady came, laden with two gift items. An enlarged photo of me receiving the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) National Award from President Muhammadu Buhari last October, and a plaque”.

The plaque was inscribed with “In the eyes of all meaningful Nigerians, you are more than just a mouthpiece of the President, but glowing light in a world where honesty and integrity have dwindled. May your commitment and dedication for a better Nigeria bring you the happiness you desire.”

Adesina added that the HND 2 student of Mass Communication followed his track record as a journalist, and media adviser for many years.

He prayed that all her dreams also come true.
