Lagos man Monday Alfred caught with two freshly cut human hands

A 31-year-old man, Monday Alfred, has been arrested in Imota area of Shagamu in Lagos State with suspected two human hands hidden inside a container.

Alfred was arrested on Wednesday at about 2.15 p.m. by a patrol team from Imota Division, on Ori-Okuta Old Shagamu Road, Lagos Police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said in a statement.

Hundeyin said the patrol team team had stopped Alfred and one of the person who were on a motorcycle with registration number JBG 276 VU, on top speed heading towards Shagamu from Imota.

“ One of the suspects jumped down and ran into the bush as soon as they were stopped by the patrol team.

“ They were given a hot chase, which led to the arrest of Monday Alfred of Isale-Aye Araromi Imota, who was the motorcycle rider.

“Upon thorough search of the black sack found with them, two cut hands suspected to be human parts, were found in a liquid suspected to be alcohol in a plastic bucket,” the spokesman said.

Hundeyin said the motorcycle, one Tecno and one Vivo mobile phones, were also recovered from the suspect.

He said efforts were intensified to apprehend the suspect who escaped.
