In four days time, President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will be sworn-in as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

On Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari conferred on him the highest national honour meant for the president alone-Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR) of Nigeria.

Tinubu was decorated with the award by Buhari at the State House, Abuja in the presence of some of his family members.

The Vice-President-elect, Kashim Shettima was also decorated with the Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON) in the presence of his family members.
