Nigerian music sensation, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, has narrated why he rejected the N5 million offer from the organisers of the Renewed Hope Concert.

In a video posted on his social media page on Friday, Portable said “They (the organisers) have ripped me. I used to shout up and down: Akoi Tinubu and when I do so people insult me. But I continued posting it.”

According to him, the organisers of the concert reached out to his management saying that only N5,000,000 will be paid to Portable out of the N10,000,000 allocated to him.

Hearing this, Portable said he tore the contract and deleted their number as he would not allow them to rip him. As a result, despite being a huge fan, he was barred from singing at Tinubu’s inaugural performance on Thursday night.
